Triple Clutch

C-Stone’s triple clutch is used in a P2 module in hybrid vehicles with DCTs. It is composed of a wet dual clutch and an engine clutch. The triple clutch is especially necessary for high-efficiency hybrid DCTs. It has an excellent total length to torque capacity ratio and is installed in a very small space. Also, it uses a high-efficiency clutch actuator to improve the transmission efficiency.

The wet dual clutch is designed with a device for minimizing the clutch drag. It has an excellent ratio of torque capacity to total clutch length and has an ideal structure that distributes the clutch actuation loads evenly. Both of hydraulic and electric actuators are applicable.

C-Stone’s dry dual clutch remarkably reduces transmission length. The torsional damper is also integrated into the clutch to reduce the production cost. It has a superb torque capacity to total clutch length ratio. An electric actuator can be used in this new dry dual clutch.
High Efficiency Clutch

C-Stone’s Power Piston allows for smaller, low inertia, highly efficient clutches. It also allows for various functional features and improvements in both efficiency and performance of transmissions.
With our innovative high-efficiency clutch, the clutch torque capacity is increased without increasing the clutch size. Also, the length, weight, and rotational inertia of the clutch can be reduced. It decreases drag loss and reduces the hydraulic supply pressure.
Hydro-Static Starting Device

Hydro-Static Starting Device
C-Stone’s new starting device for vehicles and industrial machines can replace a torque converter. It has the smooth starting features of a torque converter and the efficiency of a mechanical clutch.
Our hydro-static starting device needs neither the complex lockup clutch nor the torsion damper, unlike the torque converter. It provides excellent starting performance with a simple control system and has fewer parts to reduce the production cost.

C-Stone’s variable force disc spring provides a simple centrifugal force compensation device for clutch or power transmission devices. Compared to existing springs that only provide constant load, our springs provide variable spring load depending on the rotational speed. The disc spring load is changed by balance weights.
New Concept Balancing Module

C-Stone’s new balancing module is used to cancel the centrifugal force generated by the piston in a rotating clutch. With our new concept balancing module, clutches can be designed more compactly by removing balancing oil paths. Our new balancing module uses a polymer-filled balancing chamber with an integrated return spring.

C-Stone’s electric motor actuator is a BLDC motor driven actuator for a DCTs or AMTs. The gear selection and shifting are performed simultaneously by a drum cam. Since the BLDC motor is installed inside the drum cam, a very compact shifting mechanism can be achieved.
In addition, this product can be used as a driving unit for electric vehicles, electric scooters, electric bicycles, etc. Great driving torque is obtained within a small installation space and the rotation speed can be controlled precisely.

With our mechanical Power Piston, the piston-actuating force is increased by 20-50% and is applicable to single or multi-plate clutches and brakes. It increases the torque and heat capacity, reduces the drag loss, and lowers the supply pressure.
With a Mechanical Power Piston, a highly efficient, compact, light-weight, low inertia clutch or brake system is achievable. Also, the size and power loss of the oil pump can be reduced thereby improving transmission efficiency.

C-Stone’s lever disc is a steel disc with the load amplifying device attached. With our lever disc, the actuating force of the piston or plunger can be increased by 20-50%. It is applicable to clutches, brakes, plungers etc., that are actuated by oil or air.
A small, light-weight, high load capacity actuator can be achieved with the lever disc. The greater actuation force is obtained even with lower hydraulic or pneumatic pressure.

C-Stone’s new concept torsion damper is for manual transmissions. It is inserted and installed inside the transmission input or output shaft and it reduces the transmission length and cost. It has an innovative hexagonal axis energy dissipation device. Any existing DMF (dual mass flywheel) can be replaced by our dynamic torsion damper.

With a single damper, the damped engine torque is delivered to two input shafts in the transmission. It has a DMF-type damper with two output hubs. Our variable hysteresis torsion damper is incorporated with a non-contact current supply device and a solenoid. It can be mounted on the engine flywheel and the damping force is controlled by the solenoid. It provides excellent NVH performance under various driving conditions.

C-Stone’s multi-DOF (degree of freedom) damper is a 6-axis vibration isolation damper. With a single damper body, it can support vertical, horizontal, and rolling loads. A disc spring and an innovative load conversion device are incorporated inside the damper and various damping characteristics can be implemented. Our Multi-DOF Damper can support big loads and vibrations from many directions simultaneously.
